Terms of Service
Effective 21 October 2026 · Draft for the Founder Edition preview — to be reviewed by counsel before public launch.
1. The service
ReelsGun produces short-form video with AI under your direction: it researches, scripts, generates media, quality-checks, and — only with your explicit per-channel consent — uploads to accounts you connect. You keep final editorial control: nothing is made public without your approval or your channel policy saying so.
2. Your account and channels
- You connect your own YouTube, vidIQ and (later) other accounts through their official OAuth. We never ask for your passwords and you can revoke access at any time, on our side (Connections → Disconnect) and on the provider's.
- You confirm you own or control every channel you connect and that your use of connected services follows their terms.
- You are responsible for the content you approve for publishing.
3. Plans, credits and metering
- Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Each plan includes a monthly number of Shorts and cinematic seconds; usage beyond the included seconds is metered at $0.25 per cinematic second, drawn from prepaid credits first and otherwise added to your invoice.
- Prepaid credits are not redeemable for cash and expire if the account is closed for non-payment after 90 days' notice.
- If a payment fails, production pauses until payment succeeds. Nothing you made is deleted while paused.
4. Content and ownership
- As between you and ReelsGun, you own the videos we deliver to you, subject to the licences of the AI providers used to make them (shown per asset in your workspace).
- AI-generated content is labelled as such where platforms require disclosure; we always set YouTube's altered-or-synthetic-content flag.
- We may decline to produce or publish content that breaks the Acceptable Use Policy or a platform's rules.
5. Warranties and liability
The service is provided “as is”. AI output can be wrong; you review before publishing. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
6. Termination and changes
You can cancel at any time; the plan runs to the end of the paid period. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or create risk (fraud, disputes, platform strikes). We will give 30 days' notice of material changes to these terms.
